Des has worked for both global and UK plcs, and in the public and private sector. He’s particularly adept at working with organisations and people undergoing, coping with and managing major change.
“The results can be spectacular. A top Economic Strategist employed by one of the top Investment houses, was asked to start a new department. This particular bank didn’t have an Extel rating for the work he did. His goal: get into the top five in the first year then move on up to number one. He worked hard, Des worked hard and his team worked hard. The result: number one in the first year which was worth millions in commission.” Coaching in this pressurised environment was both hard work and fun. But the benefits were spectacular.

Des has an honours degree, and is a Fellow of The Royal Geographical Society. In November 1995 Des received his Diploma in Corporate Direction from the Institute of Directors. He was a founding Director of The Success Group, and now works through his own company, Des Gould Ltd, delivering one to one coaching and offering Supervision to some of the best coaches in the business.
